BIOGRAPHY :

At the age of 21 he went to Wyoming, America. He worked there as a woodcutter with one of his brothers. Some times later, Manex left Wyoming for Nevada where he will be a shepherd. He comes back to Esterençuby in 1899, to his native house. On the 26 of April 1900 he married Marie Campo. They had ten children.
From 1921 to 1923, he published tales and bertsus in the newspaper Gure Herria. He has been the mayor of Estérençuby from 1929 to 1944.
