BIOGRAPHY :

His grand-mother and one of his uncles were bertsularis. Anciart, the bertsulari from Urrugne, took him to perform in public.
He represented the link between the famous bertsularis  Xalbador and Mattin, and the beginners of the time, Ezponda, Mendiboure and Alkhat. He enjoyed beeig in society, and people appreciated him : funny, good-tempered, always ready to give a flash of humour. He moved a lot in the places of the southern Bask country.
In 1954 he married Anttoni Basurko from Mutriku. A son and two daughters were born of this union.
