Ezkondua eta donadua

The married man ("ezkondua") and the single one ("donadua")

Joxe Mendiague exposes here the good and bad sides of each situation making speak each protagonist at his turn. The single man opposes the problems linked to growing children to the married man's arguments thinking that his elderly days will be happier. Finally each of them keeps his beliefs.

Ezkondua

Aditzak ezkon geia bi solas gu ganik
Kontseilu on hau hartzak ezkonduetarik :
Gizonak izaitekotz nihun deskantsurik,
Gazterik familia formatu behar dik,
Zahartu'ta ez dadin egon doluturik.

Donadua

Zuen kontseilu onari hemen nago irriz,
Donado gelditurik arras kontent bainiz :
ikhusiz penatuak zireztela ainhitz,
Miseria gorrian haurrak ezin haziz.
Jainkoari eskerrak hortarik libro niz.
